Planed timber suitable for bench (Doddinghurst CM15)

Looking for several lengths of planed timber suitable for the use of making a bench, I have been asked to make a bench for a local lady that doesn’t have the funds to buy one unfortunately I’m at a loss on timber as everything I have is only suitable for turning she has described what she wants and needs to be multipurpose complete with storage etc can anyone assist with timber please
