Wildlife garden development in local school (Leighton Buzzard LU7)

Hello. I work in a local school and we want to develop a wildlife garden for children as a calm space for them to investigate and learn about and take an interest in nature and the environment. I am after plants such as lavender or any other bee friendly non toxic plants we can plant. I am also planning a log pile, a bug hotel a hedgehog house and a bee pond, so would really appreciated material such as tree stump parts, bricks, log sections, a large terracotta flower pot and saucer like dhape we can put on top to make the bee pond. Obviiusly anything else you might think will be useful to us will be very much appreciated
