Radio works -cd /tape not working (Crystal Palace SE19)

Maybe someone can fix - the cd goes round a little , and the lights come on but then it slows down again - the tape thing goes round but not when you put a tape in ….the radio works and sounds good although the aerial is only partly there . Power supply standard small 8 shaped input , not included
