Vintage 1970s Kitchen Table (Clapham Junction)

Giving away this circular drop-leaf kitchen table for free as part of a house clearance. It is nearly 50 years old and in remarkably good condition for its age. It features those classic mid-century (MCM) tapered legs and is a fantastic space saver for smaller homes.
The Upcycling Potential:
The veneer is chipped in a few areas (please see photos), making this a prime candidate for a beautiful transformation. To make this a high-end kitchen table again:
• Repair: Simply fill the small chips with a bit of wood filler.
• Prep: Sand it back to a smooth finish.
• Paint: Apply chalk paint in a color that suits your decor.
• Finish: Seal with a clear furniture wax or a water-based lacquer/topcoat to make the surface durable, wipeable, and food-safe for daily use.

• Transportation: Very convenient! The tapered legs can be removed, so it will easily fit into most cars.
