This isn't just a garage find—this saw has a story. My father-in-law was a Master Carpenter, and over 50 years ago, he used this very miter saw to teach me the art of trim work while we built my family’s first home in Burlington. It was in pristine shape then, and because it’s built of cast iron and Simonds steel, it’s still ready to work today.
THE GOODS:
• The Big Rig: A vintage heavy-duty cast iron miter box paired with a Simonds Backsaw (Medallion dated Dec 27, 1887). Simonds steel is world-class and holds an edge like nothing made today.
• The Hand Saws: 4 additional vintage hand saws, including one with the "Warranted Superior" eagle medallion.
• Condition: As-is, but nothing is seized.
