1 sqm Indian Sandstone (Vale LA1)

My son has just bought a 2 bec house with a small garden. It has the concrete pad and a side wall of an old store. The rest is all patio in Indian Sandstone and I want to surprise him by laying the same style stone calling the brick line and ideally across the whole area , about 1/2 sqm. It can be any size and shape and any size, I will use your odds and ends.
