I have 8 sets of 3 red cherry tomato plants. I was hoping to sell them for charity but it didn't work out. They're more than ready to get stuck in a gro-bag (or bigger pots), hence giving away in threes.
These have been grown from seeds saved from last year's fruit. They cropped continuously for about 3 months and the fruit was great, v tasty and better than shop-bought (no guarantees though, of course - they do need regular watering and feeding).
If you've never grown tomatoes before, the only extra thing to know is 'pinching out' - ask me or check it online - but these didn't produce many such shoots anyhow.
