Rewilding my garden and gradually pulling up slabs to plant native plants for birds, bees, butterflies and bugs by digging up sand and replacing with compost.
Which leaves a nice big pile of sharp sand and densely packed dirt ready to put under patios and paving.
In addition to the big pile there's also at least 12 square feet's worth of sand, at minimum, waiting to be dug up where some is under remaining slabs and some is already exposed.
