Dyson Cordless vacuum (Colchester 3 miles. CO6)

I have a Dyson DC44 Animal cordless vacuum with its charger and attachments. Has stopped working but maybe someone would know how to fix it or replace battery/ motor? It’s been cleaned and filters washed and is in good condition having had little use. Seems a pity to throw it if it can be repaired.
