taking some items to the tip (Harrogate HG1)

I know this is a very unusual one, and sorry if I shouldn't be asking for this here, we do not drive or anything and we are really struggling right now, I have a broken arm chair that although is in okay condition, it is heavy and used to be electric and I have a cat scratched office chair, I've had to put it outside due to limited space but now the landlord is upset about it, can anyone help take this to the tip? If this is is the wrong place to ask then I apologise
