This is a mid 1980s Multi York armchair which we have deconstructed to see what materials it is made from. It didn't have a 'fire certificate' so we think charity shops would not take, but there's no foam of any age in it - just hessian, cotton padding etc. It has a very sound wooden frame and springs. It was in very good condition before deconstruction. See photos. Offering as a project or just for materials. We can discuss local delivery. Also posting two other matching whole armchairs.
