Shrubs: cotoneaster (Caldecott OX14)
Cotoneaster that grows tall, up to 2 m, with small leaves. It flowers early in spring and attracts bumble bees with its barely noticeable flowers. Prune it after that (March-April) if you want it not to grow too tall. In autumn the leaves go orange and it has masses of red berries that feed birds or drop everywhere and self-seed, which is why I have three of them, about 60 cm tall, to give away.
