A very rugged housing with a mains to 40V DC power supply, with quite a high current capacity going from the size of the transformer.
It could be adapted to 20V-0-20V with the same current capacity or 20V with a higher current. There are also various AC possibilities.The mains lead needs replacement. The gauge and red light are not connected.
