Schwinn 570U Indoor Upright Exercise Bike (Llangollen LL20)

The bike is fine except that the resistance no longer works. It appears to be stuck at resistance level 5 and changing it to anything else generally reduces the resistance level. Apparently this is a common problem and there are plenty of Youtube videos on how to fix it, but you need a regular bicycle tool to remove the pedal crank to get at the mechanism - and I don't have one. Hence looking for a home with someone with skills to fix bikes!
