Gelert Seabury 8+ person tent (Buggs Bottom RG4)

huge tent, used by our family for many years of happy camping.
4 bedroom pods, easily fit 2 each, 3 if smaller kids. central pod is enormous, plenty of room to stand (I am 6'4", no headroom issues). can either be used as living space, kit storage, or additional sleeping space if you are camping in numbers. moving on as our family camping days are behind us now.

tent comes in two big bags plus a bag of poles.

the three substantial main 16mm poles which hold up the inner tent and support the outer fly are made of strung fibre glass segments. 4 of the segments are split. we have managed to find replacements for two of them, included, but there are still two segments that would need replacing, either like for like, or potentially something similar in aluminium or some other kind of tubing. could probably be bodge-repaired with duct tape, especially if those segments are placed near the end of each pole (and therefore under less stress).

tent is otherwise in good condition. great tent.
