This dining table enlarger is made from an 8ft by 4ft sheet of 12mm MDF and was used on top of our dining table when we needed extra seating capacity. Our existing table, also with rounded ends, was 84 inches long by 44 inches wide, and so it added useful extra length and width. The MDF has been painted with PVA.

The first photo shows the two halves together. The second shows one half upside down to illustrate how it locates on top of the table. This may need to be modified to fit a tabk=le with different dimensions.
