Vintage rounded chest of drawers (AL2 / SG6)

This has been sitting in the house for decades, unused. She’s very grubby and in desperate need of a good clean.

3 drawers, plus a divided storage area at the top and a fold out table, complete with a supporting bar, but it doesn’t really need that.

But she is built back when they cared about how long things will last.

All 3 drawers are solid including the bottoms, no flimsy tray to fall out here.

They all open and close easily, so long as you pull on both handles together. No drawer runners though, all acoustic.

It’s worth noting that it must be stored on a flat surface, otherwise the top flap will open on its own if it tilts forwards.

It did originally have a lock, but the key was lost so it had to be opened by force. I’ve included the mechanism inside the top area if you’re interested in fixing it.

The dimensions are very roughly:
60cm x 31cm x 100cm

Available to pick up in AL2, as it’s just sitting outside right now. So priority to anyone who can collect from there soonest.

Worst case scenario it can be moved to SG6 but it’s quite bulky.

It’s medium heavy, I was able to move it on my own but you may want to bring a helper just in case.
