Toshiba laptops, no good for Windows, but OK for Linux (Cubbington CV32)

Hi,

I've got some old Toshiba laptops, with power supplies. They're no good for Windows, but OK for Linux (I've installed Ubuntu on them). The batteries don't hold much charge, so they need to be plugged in to use them for very long.

One is a Toshiba Tecra Z40-A-11U. Headphone jack doesn't work, but it comes with a docking station which does have a working headphone jack.

The other is a Toshiba Portege Z30-A-1FC. It is covered in home-made stickers of animals, flowers, balloons, rainbows, etc.
