This powerful (6000 lumens) projector once belonged to a really huge town hall event space and was used for public cinema projections,
It was also used for a regular street cinema club.
It is heavy, it works, but has issues. (don't we all).
Pros:
Fires up and works.
Bright for BIG spaces, but also good for smaller
Crisp image
Easy Firewire connectivity to my Mac.
Firewire cable included.
Carrying handle on side.
Cons
The projection has some lens flare (See images, projected onto a white board), which slightly yellows the display in the centre. I have googled remedies, which include cleaning internal dust filters and more, but I'm not going to get into that.
The zoom motor doesn't seem to work. So you get the screen size that comes from positioning, unless you want to try to fix that.
The focus motor also out, but it's easy to focus manually, by simply turning the lens holder at the front of the unit. Focussing is not an issue therefore.
Heavy... so collection only.
Will need a kettle lead.
