I have some excess pots of basil grown from seed.
Thai basil - slightly different flavour but the same basic idea and has the bonus of purple-pinkish flowers when it runs to seed (cut off the heads to slow it down and make it bush out and make more leaves if you like).
Normal sweet Genovese basil like you buy in supermarkets.
(And maybe a dark leaved basil if I have spare and you ask nicely.)
Basil makes roots very easily if you cut off a shoot and put it in water by the way. You can easily multiply up your plants - from me or from shop bought.
