Do you have an old Commodore scientific or special-purpose calculators? Maybe you have one lying around in a drawer, etc., possibly as a result of having purchased one of the newer types with graphing and even colour screens, etc., which have become the daily drivers and the older ones are forgotten but still in your possession.
I have some in the process of restoration, and I'm looking for donor devices to try and make a few of them working and reduce the number going to landfill. The batteries inside leak and cause massive damage internally, so it may take many such calculators to effectively restore a single one.
The photos show what these may look like.
