Pair of blackout linings to add behind own curtain (Gleneagles area, Wboro NN8)

This is a pair of blackout linings to clip onto your own curtains.

They have a binding strip to gather them and are designed to be attached to existing curtains, both pencil pleat and eyelet curtains - when a curtain hook/ring is added, so you can get the benefit of blackout quality without investing in brand new curtains. They add additional blackout and a thermal layer.

Each curtain is approximately

The fit is designed to be 8cm shorter than the curtain size so that when attached there is a slight gap at both the top and bottom, meaning the lining isn't visible behind the curtain. The width also needs to be slightly smaller compared to the width your curtains to remove some of the bulk.

However:
They are 15 years old and have been in a south facing window for that time.
One of them has fared better than the other, which has partially degraded.

They have been washed and overall seem too good to throw out.
Perhaps the remaining better one can be used at the least.
