Singer sewing machine comes with carry case, original instruction booklet, free spare light bulb, zipper foot and roller foot. Needs 1 replacement part but recently serviced so in good working order apart from that.

This Singer Stylist 533 sewing machine was recently serviced (see receipt) and was working perfectly… until the feed shaft worm gear gave out 😬 . It was old and the plastic had deteriorated. The replacement part only costs £12.50 but it would need to be fitted by a professional, or someone who knows the innerds of a sewing machine.

Part needed is available from Singer website: singermachines.co.uk and it is called “feed shaft worm gear for Singer 400, 500 series.”

Machine used to belong to my mum and has done many years sterling service for her, and for me. It is a solid piece of kit, weighing in at 11 kilos including the carry case (so a car is essential for collection). Carry case measures 43 x 36 x 24 cms.

Free spare bulb and zipper foot and roller foot included (as well as the standard foot on the machine). Roller foot is for sewing thicker fabrics, heavy knits and textured/napped fabrics.

Various collection times available but not 0815-0915 or 2.45-4pm during term time (School Street in operation).
