Bose Companion 2 computer speakers - left speaker distorts (Malin Bridge S6)

Powered speakers not Bluetooth, but left speaker distorts in low frequencies, probably needs reforming the surround. Needs a 12v barrel type power supply and has RCA connectors at the back. Can use the right speaker fine, so use in mono for something. Otherwise they are going to skip next week. Maybe someone can use them as is or just in mono?
