Ladies Raleigh 5-speed Racing Bike (Mount Merrion / Stillorgan)

Needing recomissioning/restoration is an old Raleigh Ladies racing bike.

The good: Wheels are true, tyres are holding air, the brakes are there and work (but need freeing). The 5-speed derailleur/gear change works. The pedals have reflectors and the mudgrards are metal which is a nice touch. The tubes have racing valves.

The bad: in reality, tyres, tubes, handlebar tape, maybe even saddle will need replacing. The rear mudguard is detatched. The less said about the carrier, the better.

I don't know the history of the bike, having aquired it on Trashnothing a few months ago to replace my daughter's stolen bike. Sadly my todo list is getting longer and longer and the bike just sits awaiting its turn, which I know won't come!
