Plants (Landscaping new home) (boston, ma)

Hi everyone, I have planted my first plant in our new home: hostas gifted from a friend! Reaching out to see if anyone has any other beginner friendly plants they could share or some landscaping wisdom/resources even. I’ve had a veggie garden in the past but am new to landscaping plants and would love to find a community that could help me along the journey (currently learning via Youtube and blogs online).
