If you have a pond these are ideal for the edges, or a damp area with no pond. They spread far and wide. I had to thin mine, now there's a pile of rooted pieces crying out (drying out) to be transplanted somewhere new asap. They like some sunshine and plenty of water but don't need much looking after otherwise.
I borrowed the photo from the Internet. The irises have finished flowering for this year.
