Old fashioned beautifully made of brass. Heavy by today's standards Work well. Also perfect to take to pieces to recover the lenses for "play" and learn about lens qualities by particularly youngsters - budding photographers, opticians, astronomers, biologists, lighting designers. That's how I learned.
