Buttons, ribbons etc (Sutton Lane Ends SK11)

My friends make twiddle muffs, like in the photo, for people who have dementia. Some people with this condition find it soothing to fiddle and twiddle. So I'm asking if any one has spare buttons, ribbons or anything that can be attached to the muffs. We already have wool.
