Vintage Writing Bureau / Secretary Desk – Restoration Projec (Sawley NG10)

I'm moving house and would love this beautiful old writing bureau to go to someone who can restore it.
It has been in our garage for some time because it didn't fit in our current home, and unfortunately it has suffered damage while stored. There is a missing section on the front (see photos), and it needs a full clean and restoration, so it isn't suitable for immediate use.
It still has lots of lovely original features, including carved detailing, a fold-down writing surface, pigeonholes and original ring handles. I'd hate to see such a characterful piece end up at the tip.
If you enjoy restoring or upcycling old furniture, you're very welcome to collect it from Long Eaton. It's free to a good home—I'd just love to see it given a second chance.
