DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300 purchased 2015, served us well, but is now broken. Sudden clunk and cracking sound announced its death. Troubleshooting suggests it needs a new transmission assembly, based on observing that the white plastic guide rib on the left appears fractured (see photo, close-up of interior). This is DeLonghi Part AS00004230. It’s available online from various third-party sources, around $117 to $130 plus shipping. Example:

I can’t guarantee that this is the only broken part, but the burr grinder and the infuser (brew unit) work fine, and all 3 O-rings were recently replaced. If nothing else, this machine could be used for DeLonghi parts. Hoping to keep it out of the landfill!
