Our 55” TV broke today after 13 years of service. It has honestly served us well, but it could not have happened at a worse possible time. I recently lost my job and I am currently on benefits, so replacing it is very difficult for us financially.
The hardest part is that the TV was not just a luxury for us. It was the main source of entertainment for me and my children, especially while money is tight and we cannot afford many days out or other activities. Losing it now has left a real gap at home, and I am trying to find the most affordable way to replace it with something reliable.
