Epson Compatible 502 Black Ink Cartridges x 3 (Talbot Village BH12)

Hi, I bought a pack of 4 black compatible ink cartridges. Used one and worked perfectly. Did a firmware update and now they won't work. 2 opened and tried. 1 unopened. I did lots of research but have reverted to originals and works fine again. Annoyed by this but cutting my loses. Does anyone want the 3 cartridges?
