Originally with solar powered LEDs which are the lids, and admittedly those have been a little temperamental, but remove the lids and add real or battery powered candles and these are a nice addition to your evening garden or balcony relaxation. I can't keep them as they don't fit my partner's ideas for the new place we're living in.
