JGC stereo and speakers (Tooting SW17)

This is a German-made stereo. Not much works on it, except the radio and CD player, after a fashion. But you might be interested in the speakers, which produce a good sound. It does not say anywhere on it how many watts the output it. The speakers do not plug in with a jack, but connect with wires. (See photo of rear of unit). I search online and discovered that it is possible to connect them to a convention stereo unit using an auxiliary jack adapter, along with a ‘mini-amplifier’. The size of each of the speakers is 140mm wide x 240mm high. Might be of interest to someone who has the TLC to work out what might be salvaged on the stereo unit. Or has the time and patience to connect up the speakers to another unit.
