Cnidoscolus aconitifolius, commonly known as chaya or spinach tree. It is a 3 to 4 ft tall, and can me clipped, shaped, and cloned easily.
It is edible if cooked but in the Euphorbia family, so raw is toxic. I've had it for 4 yrs with a goblin cat, so I suspect cats don't munch it or only do it once.
House tree (Mt Troy)
