Samsung series S (read (Illingworth HX2)

Hi.
I’m working on a new project. I’m looking for a Samsung S-series smartphone, model S8 or newer but ideally an S10 or something even more recent. Even one with a damaged or cracked screen but If the screen were functional, it would give me even more possibilities.

I won't be using it for myself. I have friends getting married soon. They are young and travel the world extensively, so I thought I’d make them an interesting gift.

Project description:
I plan to build a small, portable/mobile travel server.
I want to use the phone's internal hardware as the server base. These phones feature DeX (Desktop Experience), which allows them to function like a desktop computer.
I intend to install an independent power supply using few 18650 cells with a dedicated charging circuit. This will also power the connected peripherals. By tweaking the electronics, I can trick the phone into thinking it is permanently connected to a power source. I plan to connect a USB-C adapter to add an SSD, LAN connectivity, and if needed a monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
I intend to use Termux software to run necessary services like Pi-hole, Nextcloud, Samba, a local hotspot, and a few others. Such a mobile server would be perfect for trips: upon returning to "base" from an excursion, it would automatically back up photos and videos to a private cloud and provide internet access to the group via a single mobile plan (accommodating SIM cards from different countries).
As of now, I already have the DC-DC converters, a potential cooling solution, the charging setup, a USB-C adapter providing LAN, HDMI, and USB-A/C ports, an adapter for an SSD/HDD, and most importantly the concept and the know-how to build and customize it :)
Thank for help me
