Morphy Richards Bread making macine (Risinghurst OX3)

I was given this gadget by my father in law a few years back. He told me at the time that the kneading setting works fine, just one of the other settings was unreliable. I never used it so am not sure which setting he was referring to. Does anyone like to give it a go?
