Beetroot seeds "Chioggia" (Hatfield AL10)

Unopened freebie seed packet. From this year; sow by 2028 so should be fine next spring, though I say it's not too late to do a last sowing now.

I think Monty grows these but I don't really like beetroot so I won't.

Beetroot is basically the same as chard, which I do grow, and it is laughing at the drought, so I expect these of all things will do well this dry year. Though you will need to water well at first to get the seedlings established. After that they have really deep root systems and find the water amazingly well.
