While tidying the garden I found the following plants which should go to a good home - these are mostly rooted seedlings/saplings from the parent plant, or cuttings which can be very easily rooted in water.
These are almost guaranteed to 'take', given very little tlc, and include:
- Trees/saplings: Lilac (LOTS, mauve and white, scented), Bird cherry
- Yellow flowers : Hypericum (larger flowers than St John's Wort), Alchemilla Mollis
- Blue flowers : Periwinkle, Parisian violets
- Pink flowers : Pelargonium
- Grass: Bronze Carex
- Ground cover : Wild strawberries, variegated leaves creeper with purple flowers (sorry don't remember the name)
- Ferns : Shuttlecock, grow very tall and prehistoric looking
- Fence cover : Ivy
- Trees/saplings: Lilac (LOTS, mauve and white, scented), Bird cherry
Most of those are already dug out and in water, but I might need a bit of help to dig out a few such as cherry saplings.
Would suit a new garden as could all be taken in one go - ideal!
To be collected on a non-rainy day, 1-4pm. (Useful to bring old newspapers and plastic bags).
