I’ve had these chairs stripped of varnish many years ago but just haven’t got around to painting them up. If anyone wants a project, or just keep them rustic as they are, you are welcome to them. The stripping was by some kind of chemical dip and I think it has dried the wood out so some oil or wax treatment would help , just depends on how you want them.
