Originally custom made by a professional joiner as a safe space for an active disabled child to sleep when away from home. Could be used for any purpose you want, even using the panels separately.
Made mid 1990s. Very sturdy and heavy. Varnished/lacquered finish.
Fastens together with three bolts and wing nuts at each corner. Long side panels hinged to fold in half when dismantled. Two-part plyboard base, approx 12mm thick.
Foam filled cushions (each approx 90cm/3ft square x 5cm/2” depth) were custom made by upholsterer and have no fire labels.
Gate is approx 80cm/31.5” x height 113cm/44.5”. Fastens with standard internal door security bolt.
Gaps between bars approx 8.5cm/3.5”.
Has no safety certifications.
Wooden parts have been stored in garage and cushions indoors.
