Originally custom made by a professional joiner as a safe space for an active disabled child to sleep when away from home. Could be used for any purpose you want – use your imagination.
Made mid 1990s. Very sturdy and heavy. Untreated wood with varnished/lacquered finish.
Fastens together with three bolts and wing nuts at each corner. Long side panels hinged to fold in half when dismantled. Two-part plyboard base, approx 12mm thick.
Foam filled cushions (each approx 90cm/3ft square x 5cm/2” depth) were custom made by upholsterer and have no fire labels.
Gate is approx 80cm/31.5” x height 113cm/44.5”. Fastens with standard internal door security bolt.
Gaps between bars approx 8.5cm/3.5”.
Has no safety certifications.
Wooden parts have been stored in garage and cushions indoors.
