New is fine old is better, in good working condition, close face is probably better for our adventure seems he hasn't been fishing (unfortunately) and I'm dying to see his face when he catches something.
This grandma would love to take my grandson fishing cat fish or bass 🙂 teaching children how to fish is so much more valuable than giving them one.
