Large edible Puffball Mushroom (Grange of Lindores KY14)

I found this yesterday. We have had puffballs appear before and I did try eating one ( fried in butter). It tasted ok but à bit rubbery for my liking. However, I am definitely alive to tell the tale😃and have been told they are a delicacy to some.
Not sure how long they stay fresh for but maybe if you want it pick up sooner rather than later
