Solid wood table top 2’6” sq or 3’ would be fine (Llangrove HR9)

I am going to make an old fashioned platform toilet seat, so i need it to be thick [1? ] solid wood not mdf,
An old coffee table top would be perfect. Broken legs and surface marks no problem. :-)
