This is the type that freezes as well as churns
The freezer part works fine but the churning part doesn't. Poor design uses a gear train of plastic gears and these can strip teeth when the ice cream is getting
firm.
The hexagonal drive shaft is missing, but still available.
Other spare parts are no longer available, except in the USA.
If you have a 3D printer you could print a couple of new gears. I was considering using a drill to replace the lot but bought another machine instead.
Nice little repair project.
