Portable cassette tape player (Purley CR8)

Old and used Ferguson cassette tape player. It takes 4x C batteries or can be run of the mains using a standard 'figure of 8' cable, neither are supplied, it's just the player. I did test with some C batteries and it appears to work fine, the spindles turn, but I don't have a cassette to test with.
