Wine Bottle Corks Rubber Telescopic Broom Handle (Mulbarton NR14)

Looking to put together a fruit grabber. I had an extending broom stick but it’s jammed - so I am trying to piece together a replacement.

I have the plastic bottle body but need to get an extending broom/mop handle to marry up with the bottle.

Does anyone have plastic or cork stoppers that I can use?? Along Cringleford or Eaton City area? I have a selfie stick that I could dismantle and reassemble for the task. Ideally an extending mop handle would be better with a longer reach but we make do and adapt.
