480Watt UPS, Merlin Geran (ME16 Queens Road)

I purchased this back in 1990's to protect my workshop computer, I used to take it to site when required. It did it's job on a number of occasions with poor site temporary supplies. It has stood unused for about 15 years.
The batteries are dead and require replacing, there are four 12V 7Ah gel batteries which fit in three plastic holders and slide into the back.

I was preparing to put this back into service and removed the batteries but as the computers now are all laptops I feel the need is no longer there.

This unit is the same size as a desktop tower 40x45x16cm and is heavy when filled with batteries, by the end of the week it will be junked.
